it's Monday?! already?! - i'm still in a haze - i vote 3 day weekends for all!!!


have you guy's heard of the on-line boutique B H L D N? - when i first stumbled upon it, SHOCK, fabulocity shock that is! - Their roots are with Anthropologie and they are ever evolving to meet the needs of all the women they serve - they believe every women should have their occasion fit them to a tee - they strive to do everything better with a twist - i LOVE this place!

it's NOT just wedding dresses - they have gowns, shoes, jewelry, cover-ups, hair adornments, and accessories! - below are a few of my favorites!

Initial Thought

i've always been a girl who LOVES "initials" and since mine are "EF" i just had this thing in my head that i'm just 'a lil bit special' - i mean, shouldn't we ALL think of ourselves that way?

so in any case, me and my special self with my E.F. initials LOVE the following:

this was at a wedding - but i'm thinking i wanna grow some hedges and get my initials cut out in them!

Mom Update:

so this week my Mom started to lose her hair and by Wednesday night i had to shave the rest - the 2 of us cried and my heart was broken for her - i told her i would shave mine, but as the best Mom in the world, she wouldn't allow that - i realized when you don't have a choice to make, and the decision is made for you, it's the hardest thing in the world to deal with - my Mom is my hero, she is strong and wipes away my tears as my heart breaks for her - she is fighting this cancer to the end - another chemo treatment on Tuesday (which i will be with her of course) - wig shopping is not as fun as one would think (again, not a choice, decision made by cancer) - seeing her sick along with all the other patients tears my heart to pieces!

Thank you again Butterfly readers for all your love and prayers for my Mom! - one way or another, one tear at a time, we will get through this battle with a victory flag at the end!

Bed - i crave thy

WHAT a day yesterday was! - just WHAT a day - all in all - after 3 months of seeing my dentist, i'm now in the MOST pain ever! *frustrated* ..

anyway here are some beds, i'd LOVE to be in right now, instead of being in the office ...

i've talked about how i want to live on a boat one day

and trust me my loves, if i could, i would live in a row boat like this!

her hair coming out in clumps today - she thought it 'might not happen to her' - but it is starting - i'm taking her to a 'support group' today where they show her how to create eyebrows and so forth - it's at the PERFECT time for her i think - and i will do my darnest to make this day HAPPY and not SAD! -- oh and it SNOWED again today *oye*

 

Temperley London

i don't think it's any surprise i'm a HUGE fan of Temperley London - i'm sure i've mentioned it on here a few times - i was looking at The Prippy Handbook and spotted this caftan and DIED!

the $1650 price tag killed me too - but i'm IN LOVE!

praying that Gilt (sample sale site) gets this and i can snag it on a deal! - i NEED this for my cruise! - i need this just b/c i 'need' this! - i need this just just need this! *sigh*

Night Out Update - Weekend Plans - Mom Update

Night out -->  so as i told you guy's a bunch of us went out in Morristown to see a friend play acoustic and well i discovered WHIP CREAM VODKA! - YES straight whip cream vodka shots, AH-MAZE-ING - mixed along the night was champagne, martinis and of course beer - which made Thursday a tough day to get through - but i handled it like a champ! - i got to finally wear my faux fur vest that i thought would be a 1 time deal, so glad i used it for 1 more time before it goes into 'bin land'  (it was off tho within an hour, i find it terribly annoying to wear) - it was a great time for all and made a few new friends - can't beat it!!!

(we are missing a few people - as well as the dancing - ect - ya know when the photo cam only comes out once? - yea, one of those nights)

Mom -->  my Mom is getting the 'effects' now from the chemo - but she is strong and a survivor! - her hair has not fallen out yet, but she does have a wig and scarves ready to go! - Joe actually brought over her fave cheesecake the other day for her as a surprise (bakery in Staten Island) ! - so my Mom has been flooded with love! - THANK YOU BLOG LOVES for asking about her all the time and all your prayers! *hugs* - she reads them all and ADORES you!

Weekend -->  oh my loves here in Jersey it's gonna be in the 60's!!!!! - yes like 65!!! - wha what?! - but i'll take it! - hopefully all the snow will FINALLY all melt away! - Joe and I are gonna go over some options for our next ski/snow boarding trip before there is no more snow! (we seem to always be slow planners when it comes to skiing/snowboarding) - i hope to make that 'lemon pull apart loaf' i never got to last weekend - finally 'celebrate' heart day with Joe - some retail therapy - find window treatments for my bedroom - and mix in a lil relaxation - oh wait and whip cream vodka too!
